Flowmeters for Gas and Liquid Flow Measurement FlowMaxx Engineering designs and manufactures flowmeters for measuring gas and liquid flow in piping systems. Our flowmeters are available in stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and other materials by request. With proper instrumentation, these flowmeters will provide accurate, repeatable, and dependable results. FlowMaxx flowmeters are designed in accordance with ASME and ISO standards. Uncalibrated flowmeters include a theoretical performance curve similar to the calibrated performance curve but based on ideal theoretical performance data. Critical Flow Nozzles (Sonic Nozzle, Sonic Venturi, Critical Flow Venturi) designed to ASME MFC-7M Specifications. Available for most gases. Air flow ranges from 0.0003 pounds per second (0.25 scfm) and up. Most any end connection. Venturi Flowmeters (Sub-Sonic Venturi, Venturi Tube, SAO, Meter Run) designed to ASME MFC-3M Specifications. Available for most gases and liquids. Air flow ranges from 0.0005 pps (0.4 scfm) and up. Most any end connection. ASME Flow Nozzles Designed to ASME MFC-3M Specifications. Available for most gases. Similar to a Venturi but higher unrecoverable pressure loss and less expensive to manufacture. Calibration Services NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) traceable, certified calibrations are available with 0.1% – 0.5% accuracy (uncertainty). Performance curves with curve-fit functions are provided along with tabulated calibration data. Curve-Fit functions easily program into any spreadsheet program, requiring only pressure and temperature measurements to calculate mass flow directly. No iterating routines or macro programming is necessary. Modern quality assurance programs require periodic calibration of all important monitoring devices. Flowmeters may be used for continuous monitoring as well as periodic calibration of other installed flowmeters. NIST certified, traceable calibration is available for all flowmeters. Standard configurations as well as custom designs are available. Standard end connections include: 37° flare (AN), NPT pipe threads, ANSI flanges, and slip-on hose.
